Hello everyone! Hopefully we will have one full week of school this week!
Today students dived into the world of researching. Some of the students became a little overwhelmed at the researching process, or coming up with their topic, and/or realized that the researching process is going to be more in depth and requires more writing this year. Every year my goal is to help students prepare for the intense world of research writing. In middle school it will be required for TAG and part of their final exam. I explained to students that the learning process may be a little intense at the present time, but this will prepare them for their future. I also gave a snip-it on the power of a good essay for scholarship writing for college and how many research papers that will be required of them. If they are prepared before they hit college, they will be one of the students who will feel empowered because they meet this fear head on at an early age. See below of our day. Have a great week!
