5th Grade Today:
Happy New Year! I am so glad to have the class back!
Below you will find what students read on the board along with our plan in the classroom. I have the day planned out on my google calendar planner in advance and will make adjustments when time is an issue. Students had a great day and I truly enjoyed their "Christmas Vacation" stories that were read aloud in our circle time. We have some creative and funny writers!
Warm up and Discussion:
Tell me a story about your Christmas Vacation! Was it as crazy as the movie,
"Christmas Vacation" or was it a calm gathering? How would your story go and where would it start? Would it start from school or at home or on the road? Be creative with your "Christmas Vacation Story by YOU!"
