Ms. Andrea Love Art and Gifted Educator
Today in TAG we missed our SSPP friends and two other students, but we still pressed on with out challenging work. We began our day with our unique writing prompt:
We continued our challenge with Everfi Digital Citizenship and writing our reflections on Google Docs. Students have reflected on a couple of the modules and reflected about the following: For example: "On Everfi, Wireless Communication I learned that I can be responsible using a cell phone by....(doing what, explain). Paying for a cell phone is a challenge .....( what do you have to remember when paying for a cell phone?). Something that I learned through the program was....(Something interesting that I did not know was....explain....). What are the dangers of using a cell phone when driving?...... (explain how to help someone understand that it is dangerous to use your phone while driving).
Students are doing a great job with the simulations to help them connect with the internet world, I am very proud of their progress while they defeat many challenges and frustrations of learning new material.
The field trips are all set now. I will be sending out detailed information soon for the following dates:
November 7th: Food Bank and Anthropology Museum visit
February 26th: GAM Capitol Day and Governors Mansion
Have a wonderful rest of the week. Please contact me if you have any questions.
