Student were engaged working on the Colby Mouse Maze and the Snap Circuits today in groups of two and three. Students were challenged to create a maze and had to program the mouse to find the cheese. Students switched groups and then were challenged to follow a circuit map that would guide them to make a light come on, a little fan to fly and more.
After working on with the mouse robot and circuits, students learned how to open up Google Classroom, start a new document and begin writing their letter to Mr. Rowden. We will add more to the letters next week and work a little more on their outlines for their research paper.
Please return the permission slips for the field trip as soon as you can. Students can give to their teachers and they can put it in my mailbox next week.
