Ms. Andrea Love Art and Gifted Educator
Today we worked on several things in TAG.
First, we had a writing prompt:
"What would you do for someone who is having a bad day?"
The focus was to reiterate the question in our answer and explain what we would do to help a friend. We often want to just write our answer and not write a complete sentence. We rewrote the sentence reiterating the question and talked about why we need to write it in the manner that we did. We will be working on this at the beginning of class.
After our writing prompt we played a game, "Cool Cash Bingo." This game was so fun to play and it helped us understand money along with adding the money up to find the correct item that cost the same amount of what we spun on the spinner. We played until we lined up two Bingos on the board.
After playing our game we did our last module on Everfi Digital Citizenship. The modules become more advanced and this module was on safe texting. We learned that we can help those that are driving to put their phone away or ask if we can text for them. I help with the reading on parts of the simulation as it is a little difficult for students. Therefore, we work on it together.
We had our free exploratory time as well with magnets and a treasure hunt on ABCYA games.
We enjoyed our learning time today and expressed our favorite learning time on Google Docs.
Have a wonderful rest of the week and please contact me if you have any questions.
